Wika ng Pagkakaisa

Ang wika ay nakatali sa ating kultura at kung sino tayo. Wika rin ang siyang nagbubuklod sa isa’t isa kahit nasaan man tayo.

Ang ating pambansang bayani, si Jose Rizal, ay nagpahayag ng kahalagahan ng pag-ibig sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino.  Sinabi pa niya na “ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay mas masahol pa sa malansang isda!”  Hindi maituturing na makabayan ang isang tao kung ikinahihiya niya ang sariling wika.  Ito ay isang bagay na dapat mapagliming mabuti ng mga kababayan natin na walang pagpapahalaga sa sariling wika, pambansa man o rehiyunal.  Nakakalungkot isipin na sa kasalukuyang panahon, marami sa ating mga Pilipino ang higit na humahanga sa mga kababayan nating napakahusay magsalita ng Ingles.

Lahat ng mga Pilipino ay may tungkulin sa pagmamahal sa sinilangang bayan at, natural, sa sariling wika.  Sa wika na lamang siguro natin maaaring makita ang pagkakaiba natin sa ibang mga tao sa mundo, lalo na ngayon na maaaring ibahin o baguhin ang kulay ng ating balat, ang anyo ng ating mukha at kahit na ang hugis ng ating katawan.  Ang wikang Filipino ay ang nalalabing diwa ng ating damdaming makabayan at pambansang pagkakaisa at kailangan natin itong bigyan ng kaukulang pagpapahalaga.

Reflection

·         I've learned a lot this first grading period. From the beginning, I encountered the contributors of the internet. Second is the definition of Internet, its tools, major components and how to find a web site. Next are the data types. Another is the parts of a web browser (Internet Explorer). The other is the domain name system and lastly searches engines, creating Google accounts and Blogs.

·         I've encountered some problems during this grading period which is very common to us, students. Where this are the times when I got dizzy about the instructions that was given to us by our teacher, Mrs. Evangeline Vera Cruz.

·         I address the problems by going back to the instructions given and following them effectively. Also with the help of our subject teacher who's always there to guide me and my classmates.

·         Moving on, I will promise to do my activities before the given deadline. I'll listen to Mrs. Vera Cruz more and very well for easy understanding and to analyze the instructions well.

The Results

       It’s not given to people to judge what’s right or wrong. People have eternally been mistaken and will be mistaken, and in nothing more than in what they consider right and wrong. Does not judge or you too will be judged? For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

       

        President Benigno Aquino III successfully delivered his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City and discussed matters regarding the country’s economy, defenses, public works, education, and many more. This SONA is the president’s fifth, the second to the last, and we are expecting him to discuss more about what is happening now, impeachment complaints because of DAP, territorial disputes, pork barrel scam, energy problems and more.

     

       In his talk, the government meant well. There was no admission of any major problems in the system, and nothing about what is eating the country from the inside and out, corruption. There are new fighter jets, helicopters and a landing ship. There are also new weaponry and arsenal for soldiers and police officers alike.  Respondents and relief workers were quick during disaster situations. The education has been widespread all over the country that our natives are now sent to school.

    

     With that, we should understand that President Noynoy cannot handle each and every one of our problems. He is not only focusing on one life, he is focusing on millions of lives. We shouldn't be selfish to always ask for what happens to us personally or what affects us. We should be proud that he affected us not only just as an individual but as a country. Looking back on what our country was before, he strived hard to get us back up, it will take more than 10 years to fully restore the economy of the Philippines and it is also up to us, citizens to participate in this journey to success and to make or country a better place.

Nutrition Month Celebration

"Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan"

                Different calamities were coming every now and then. by those, many people’s houses and lives were wasted. But we must know how to handle it to prevent such disaster that can destroy one’s life.

          When July comes, Nutrition Month was celebrated for this is to remind us the month of eating nutritious foods not only by this month but every day. The year's theme is "Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan".Does this theme ring a bell? Well yes, because it was based on the typhoon Yolanda who made a big disaster here in the Philippines were many Filipinos lives and casualties were lost. This is to promote interventions to address nutritional needs in emergencies and disasters including preparedness, response and recovery; mobilize respondents particularly the local nutrition clusters and stakeholders to address gaps in nutrition in emergencies response from national to barangay levels; and increase awareness among families and individuals on coping and resiliency strategies to prevent malnutrition and worsening of nutritional status in times of emergencies and disasters. 

                Like what they say, Prevention is better.
